Job description
- The Dispatcher is the person who permanently monitors the information received from the electronic security systems, analyzes it and reports it according to the type of event, the protocol concluded with the Beneficiary and the legal provisions in the field.
- Identifying the activities of coordinating the actions for intervention in case of facts that could endanger the safety of the monitored objectives, of coordinating the activities for maintaining security within these objectives; Ensuring the permanent monitoring of all the objectives connected to the dispatcher, through the equipment/systems of the dispatcher; Coordinating and monitoring the action activity of the mobile crews; Prompt and correct transmission of information;
Main duties:
- Collaborates with the security/ security personnel from the objectives and their heads, with the mobile crews, as well as with the firefighters and the police, as the case may be, in order to carry out the activity of ensuring the security in optimal conditions and
- Quality, according to the procedures and work instructions, the applicable legislation in force and the Beneficiary’s requirements;
- Permanently monitors, during the service, the objectives connected to the dispatcher;
- Coordinates the activity of moving the intervention crews on the patrol routes and reaching the objectives, as well as strengthening the own intervention force with additional or technical service crews permanently in case of major events or technical failures in the alarm systems;
- Is required to know at all times the records of the objectives and the mode of action in case of special events;
- Operates correctly and checks the operating status of the monitoring equipment;
- Identifies the situations in which interventions are required at the monitored objective;
- Permanently receives the information received in the dispatcher, taking into account the Beneficiary’s security policy and procedures;
- Urgently reports the alarm states to the line manager/coordinator on duty, any other special event, as well as the measures he/she has taken, and further executes his/her orders;
- Coordinates and monitors the action of mobile crews;
- Keeps in touch with the service coordinator and the intervention crews to know their position in the field;
- Identifies the position of mobile teams in the field, taking into account the location in relation to the alarmed objective;
- Directs mobile teams in the field by providing all the necessary preliminary information;
- At the request of the shift managers in service, he provides them with the intervention team in case of events, and takes measures to direct them and other forces in the field, until the emergence of the management factors;
- Prepares/ fills in documents, reports/ registers specific to the activity carried out;
- Manages the material resources of the service station (dispatcher);
- Ensures operative information on order and security in objectives;
- Complies with the obligations of the employee (worker) according to the occupational safety and health legislation;
- Complies with the employee’s obligations according to the legislation specific to the field of activity;
