Recruitment, selection and training according to the international standard ASIS GDL PSO-2010
At Civitas, people are the most important resource and value, so the internal selection and recruitment process of employees is based on the ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) standard, which allows us to deliver security services with specialized quality personnel.
It is a complex process which starts with the recruitment (aiming to attract candidates seeking a career in security) and ending with assessment of studies/education, history of professional activity/ relationships, anti-doping control, financial situation, medical and psychological profile, physical skills and specialized knowledge.
Qualification and training
Security Personnel Qualification Courses
Personnel training are one of the determining factors for ensuring a high level of our security services. Being aware of this, Civitas Group has developed in-house expertise and specific training programs in order to provide the best security agents.
In order to qualify security guards, the structure of the company includes the “Vocational Training Center” which, within the training programs approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, the General Inspectorate of Police and the National Council for Adult Vocational Training, organizes courses lasting 360 hours (120 hours of theoretical training and 240 hours of practical training), at the completion of which the trainees obtain the certificate of qualification in the specific occupations of the security personnel.
Within the Vocational Training Center, training activities are carried out for all categories of operational staff, from the basic security guard up to the key account or regional director.
In this respect, Civitas Group uses its own resources, but also outsourced expertise through high-profile specialists from Romania or abroad.
Our employees also attend external courses to increase skills and obtain certifications covering a wide range from equipment certification to security for different market verticals.
Operational management
The third important element in providing a quality security service is operational security management.
Civitas invests in training and training operational managers and applying the best security management measures. Civitas ensures effective management through a nationwide structure that includes site managers, security inspectors, security managers, area managers, account managers.
Customers are supported by a dedicated account manager who serves as a single point of contact for any issues related to the contract, such as:
- technical details such as performance reports, documentation or ticketing status, issues related to security incidents, various other issues that may impact security;
- commercial details related to invoicing, tendering and SLA;
- any other data concerning the security contract, including external third parties such as police authorities, legislative issues with impact on security, etc.
