It involves connecting two or more computers, with wireless connectivity being the most used and most suitable solution.

If the network will not be connected to the outside (other networks or the Internet), the interconnection is simpler. It’s enough for each of the computers to have a wireless network card, and any computer can communicate directly with the others in the network, using common resources.

The connection to a WLAN is made by using an Access Point, a wireless device with functions similar to the classic hub, which connects all the computers in the network, allowing access to all the LAN resources (including the Internet connection).
